Join the University of Akron SAGES and Upstart Crows student organizations for a creative writing open mic night at the newly opened Sense by the Falls in Downtown Cuyahoga Falls. Arrive early at 6 pm to put your name on the reading list and then pour a candle and have a drink while you wait for the readings to begin. Beer, wine, adaptogen cocktails, and sodas are available for purchase.
The open mic portion of the evening will begin at 7 PM.

Please plan to bring 3-5 minutes of material total to read - one or possibly two poems or a piece of flash fiction or nonfiction. We do not intend to censor anyone's creativity, but please bring material that is community-friendly.

This event is free and open to the public, but we do encourage planning to patronize the business that kindly hosts us by purchasing beverages or retail products.
