Created by Miranda Imperi in 2020, Sense by The Falls is a unique sensory experience, that combines candle pouring, craft cocktails, live music, plants, and thoughtfully curated retail nestled in Historic Downtown Cuyahoga Falls. From the moment you walk in to our store, expect your senses to be enveloped in the experience from start to finish.

Smell

We offer rotating selections of vessels and customizable products for our patrons as well as over 100 fragrance options to create your own custom fragrance blend. Our candle wax is soy based which makes our candles healthier to burn and more consistently fragrant than other popular retail candles.

See & Touch

In addition to our DIY activities, we have a selection of retail products from many local artists and makers. We also stock a large variety of live house plants and plant care accessories for purchase.

Taste

Our bar offers many ways to ignite your sense of taste with our seasonal craft cocktail menu. We infuse our liquors and make our syrups in house and grow some of our ingredients in our cocktail garden. You can also enjoy a beverage from our selection of local breweries, wineries, or our custom curated adaptogen and soda menu options.

Not only can you shop and create, Sense by The Falls also offers regular live entertainment on weekends such as acoustic musicians or open mic nights which are almost always free to enjoy.

  • No, walk-ins are welcome any day we are open. However, we do recommend making a reservation for days that tend to be busier, like Fridays or Saturdays, or surrounding holidays.

  • Our DIY candle options range in price depending on size and type of vessel from $20-$125.

    We also offer hand sanitizers, reed diffusers, wax melts, and other flameless DIY product options that range in pricing from $15-$50.

  • Nope! We do not require candle pouring during public hours, and invite you to come and enjoy beverages at the bar and just experience the vibe anytime.

    You are also welcome to shop our retail selection during open hours.

  • Yes, we are also a bar so we do offer beverages. We have a small selection of sodas, adaptogen style beverages from Recess, bottled water, a rotating wine and beer selection from local brewers and wineries, and a full liquor bar. We feature rotating seasonal craft cocktails and mocktails.

    We do not allow guests to bring in outside beverages but you are welcome to bring a snack in during your experience or have food delivered.

  • Plan to spend about 45-60 minutes in the store creating your candle. Once you’re done it’ll take about 90 minutes for your candle to cool and set. We recommend spending time experiencing Downtown Cuyahoga Falls, grabbing dinner, drinks, or shopping while you wait.

  • No. We will hold on to your candle for up to 30 days if you are not able to pick it up the same day you poured it.

    Candles left for longer than 30 days are placed for sale amongst our abandoned candle shelf.

  • Yes! We have options for private parties and can accommodate large groups during open hours. Reach out to us directly for more info on party fees and options.
