Family Fun for All Ages

Finding activities to please the whole family can be tough, but we’ve got you covered! We’ve put together a Front Street itinerary that is sure to impress all ages.

First Stop - Sense by The Falls

Did you know that kids as young as 4 years old can enjoy the candle pouring experience? Our create your own candle activity doesn’t require much creativity and our process is simple for almost any age. We also have DIY hand sanitizers for those that don’t want to take any risks with the hot wax (although it’s safe and won’t burn!). Your kids will love the experience of getting to create their very own fragrance blend. Plus, if your child is artistically inclined, they’ll have a blast creating their label for their custom creation. We even have a variety of non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy so everyone can indulge in the full experience.

Your candles will take at least 90 minutes to cool, so take advantage of this time to explore the rest of the family friendly options in Downtown Cuyahoga Falls.

Second Stop - High Bridge Glens

We are quite possibly one of the luckiest towns in the country because we are surrounded by some of the most picturesque views in the country. Just a few doors down from our store, you’ll find an adorable little park called High Bridge Glens. Here you can walk across the scenic bridge to view the falls and river or take the stairs off the trail to get closer to riverbank. There’s a large grassy area, perfect for running around and blowing off some steam, and you can also marvel at the incredible Don Drumm sculpture that sits in the middle of the park.

If it’s a nice day, this stop is a must!

Third Stop - Lunch @ The Workz

Kids of all ages will enjoy a lunch stop at The Workz. Head just a little more North across Broad Blvd & Portage Trail to the restored historic theatre which is now The Workz, an arcade, restaurant, and bar. The Workz offers tons of arcade style games, duck pin bowling, and a delicious menu that is truly kid friendly.

You can also catch live music and family friendly movie nights there on a regular basis. Check their website for upcoming events and make this a regular family night stop!

Fourth Stop - Dessert & Shopping

If everyone ate their dinner, then dessert at Pavs Creamery is the best reward! Head South back across Portage Trail to make an ice cream stop. We guarantee Pavs has everyone’s favorite flavor! Plus their adults only milkshake menu is an extra special treat for mom and dad.

After you’ve had your fill at Pavs, it’s almost certain the kids won’t let you walk by Grandpa Joe’s without walking in. Grandpa Joe’s has quite literally every type of candy you can imagine, an entire wall of flavored sodas (even pickle and ranch flavors!), and a super fun selection of novelty gifts. There will definitely be something for everyone to enjoy inside. We dare you to try and leave without grabbing something from their world famous $5 candy buffet!

And last, you’ll have to stop in at Mr. Fun’s, a costume and party store just a few doors South from Grandpa Joe’s. Mr. Fun’s is known for their novelty items and creative costumes available for rent or for purchase. If you’re looking for something niche, fringe, or specific, you’ll probably be able to find it at Mr. Fun’s!

Fifth Stop - Pick Up Your Candle

Now that you’ve had your fill of fun on Front Street, it’s time to swing back to Sense by The Falls and grab your custom candles!
