Audrey Ficus

Audrey Ficus

Care:

Audreys prefer bright, indirect light and do best at a South or West facing window. These plants require a bit more care than other house plants and should be misted and wiped regularly to prevent dust build up. These plants like to dry out between waterings, so make sure the top 2-3 inches of soil are dry before watering. When watering, thoroughly soak the soil. Regular pruning of lower branches and leaves allows this plant to grow to its full potential.

Pet Friendly:

No.

Soil & Fertilizer:

These plants need well aerated soil, so a cactus soil mix with lots of perlite mixed in works well. Their top most roots should be barely visible and they also like sand, orchid bark, and bone meal mixed into the top soil layers. 3-1-2 NPK fertilizer works best with Audreys used once per month during summer months.
